Like her namesake, Peony is loaded with wonderful shades of pink and red. She is fashioned from an imported sparse mohair that is batiked. This lovely teddy has a hand-plucked muzzle and a meticulously embroidered nose and mouth. Lots of needle sculpting and deep-set hand-blown glass eyes add to her wonderful expression. Peony's inner ears are lined with ultrasuede. And, to add to her delightful expression, I've placed those ears low. Her ultrasuede paw and oversized footpads (her feet are almost shoulder high!) have been needle sculpted with fingers and toes. Like all well-fed teddies, Peony has a nice big tummy! The bell collar that Peony is wearing is leather and came from Germany. She is stuffed with a combination of polished steel shot and polyester polyfil. Peony will feel wonderful sitting in the palm of your hand, sharing sunny days with you! And, like all the teddies of The Bear Menagerie, Peony has a sewn-in tush tag and will travel with a signed name card assuring you that you are the proud owner of an original design teddy!
